A client request for a flexible office and showroom, but with space, time, and budget restraints demanded an economical, clean solution from m+design. Within four months, m+design delivered a commercial space with contemporary, multi-use design elements.

The fresh and simple white and light grey walls and ceiling act as a neutral canvas to a variety of artworks or larger format samples on display, while built-in gypsum niches, highlighted in blue, draw the eye to the client’s product. Light is reflected around the 47 square metre space via the use of polished concrete for flooring, and is complemented by a suspended bench and work surface in similar hued micro-cement. This bench allows promotional products to be arranged, gallery-style and creates a break in the rigidity of the floor plan.

The end effect is a dynamic, yet uncomplicated gallery, showroom and office that gives its owner a platform to create an ever-changing environment for potential visitors.
